Murfreesboro is getting closer and closer everyday to outright banning homosexuality. That might sound extreme, but they have been legitimately taking the steps towards doing so. Under our "decency" ordinance, books mentioning homosexuality have been banned in our public libraries. It has now come to my attention that under Murfreesboro's city codes, you can get in legal trouble for "displays of sexual conduct". This all has seemingly flown directly under the radar, and I at the very least feel personally responsible. Please, join me in registering to vote and becoming engaged in our local politics.
The people we love are under attack for the people they love. We cannot continue down this path.
