I've seen that in someone's final report recently. I'm with it in spirit, but I do think there's an element of discovery (and not pure creation) in the successful pursuit of happiness. We've got to discover our springs of delight, and then we've got to find stratagems (habits, attentive practices) that will reliably put us in touch with them. So the pursuit is both a creation and a search, albeit a search that brings us back 'round to home again. Like the poet said,
