Answering the questions where very interesting but I love answering them. Because when I first read them questions I thought they were right or wrong answers. Until I read the caption saying “be yourself” then that’s when I felt comfortable answering the questions on my own terms.
ReplyDelete"Be yourself," I believe, can be counterproductive in the pursuit of happiness. For instance, if someone looks within for happiness, while they are sentenced to death, there is nothing in and of themselves that can bring lasting satisfaction. I don't want to be cynical, as some believe that believing in yourself lies the keys to happiness, but to me, the only worthwhile pursuit is that which brings lasting satisfaction, even beyond the grave. This might seem absurd, but everyone to some degree desires eternity, and as a result, only an eternal source of happiness will suffice. Believing in yourself, in this line of thinking, only gets in the way since we are finite.
