  1. A great way of looking at things if you can maintain it. Always look for the upsides, even in the face of the worst times. In the end, your body and soul will be better for it. There will be a lot less stress.

    However, as usual, it’s easier said than done.

  3. It's what Chance the Gardener said in "Being There": new growth in the spring. Freddie's challenge (and ours of course) is to grasp the continuity between fall and spring. We DO survive every moment, as John Updike said (in one form or another, atomically speaking) except the last one. The very last one, which hasn't happened yet.
