I just wanted to say, I very much appreciate food. Cheer and song are great too, but man, food is just awesome and I wanted to celebrate that for a second. Sometimes, I get mad at the fact that I feel that I am the ghost in the machine. Knowing that someday this machine will break down forever and the ghost within will be released makes me so angry. It feels terribly unfair. However, other times I feel quite lucky to have the machine. The machine allows me to enjoy some baser biological functions that perhaps the ghost can't enjoy on its own. Because of the machine, the ghost has the ability to enjoy and appreciate food. From the simple bowl of ramen to the complexities of fine dining, cuisine is one of the things that unites not only the ghost and the machine, but all of those who live under the same curse. Yay food!!
