Talk more, worry less: a timely message for our anxious age…
"We have to face the fact that either all of us are going to die together or we are going to learn to live together and if we are to live together we have to talk."
And,
"You wouldn't worry so much about what others think of you if you realized how seldom they do."

"You wouldn't worry so much about what others think of you if you realized how seldom they do"
ReplyDeleteThis is it, this post right here. This is the one that I fail to live by and need to do my best to truly, and wholeheartedly adopt. As much as I might say I don't care what other people think of me or say that my opinion of myself is the only one that matters, I still fall prey to what I assume are other people's thoughts. We are social creatures, so it's natural to consider others. However, sometimes I let others' assumed opinions of me dictate my life. This post serves as a reminder to get out of my head and stop trying to think about what others are thinking about all the time.
