    1. Too quote the Existentialist Philosopher Emil Cioran: "Happiness is not thinking". Which I would say is the primary praxis of philosophy.

  2. I think Cioran can speak for himself, but thinking about happiness IS philosophy... or has been for Aristotle, Epicurus, Mill, James, Russell, and so many others. The primary practice of philosophy was for them, and could be for you and me, the pursuit of good and flourishing lives. You could call it happiness.
